Does Dark Matter Exist?
Host: Devlin
Abstract:
A range of dynamical properties of galaxies are difficult
to explain in the context of dark matter models. I will review
arguments in favor and against dark matter and discuss the
possibility of a modified law of gravitation as an alternative.
Cosmology will ultimately provide the testing ground for any
proposed modifications to gravity. Current relevant cosmological
observations and possible discrepancies will be discussed.
