The Penn high energy physics experimental program consists of several research efforts; the Collider Detector at Fermilab (CDF), outside Chicago, the Sudbury Neutrino Observatory (SNO) in a mine in Sudbury Canada, the B-meson experiment at SLAC called BaBar, located in Stanford California, and the Atlas Experiment located in Geneva Switzerland at the C.E.R.N. Laboratory. A new effort has begun with our involvement in the International Linear Collider (ILC) project. The experimental groups are supported by a highly talented instrumentation group that designs, builds, and tests detectors.
