The Desk Set


This is the required project taught during the safety course. It is a good teaching tool for the beginner. It involves basic milling and drilling, as well as most of the basic operations of the lathe. These include straight and taper turning, drilling, reaming, boring, knurling, threading, parting and facing the part to length.
