The Annual Alverthorpe Park Fishing Derby, Saturday, June 1, 2002
Abington Township sponsors an annual fishing derby for kids in Alverthorpe Park. This year it was held on Saturday, June 1st. Five Trout Unlimited members from Southeastern Montgomery Chapter # 468 participated with this derby by providing general assistance, giving out advice and keeping the area around the lake clean. The members were: Ray Young, Joe Bradley, Shawn Lee, Walt Kononenko and Dennis O'Gara. The following pictures were taken by Karl Lukens, the Supervisor of Alverthorpe Park.
