Fifteen members of the chapter were guests of Dick McKenny and his brother Hal McKenny
at the Lykens Valley Camp, which is situated on the best spot on Penns Creek, right at the railroad trestle
where the train used to go through the tunnel in the mountain at the creek bend.
Following is a collection of photos by Den Mora and Walter Kononenko of captured moments
and experiences during the 3 days on Penns Creek.
It was a cold, rainy and windy weekend with temperatures down to mid 30's
overnight. But the days were wonderful and Penns Creek did live up to it's reputation as a beautiful and challenging wild trout stream.
A lot can be said about the camp, the guys from
the Trout Unlimited chapter and the great and difficult wild trout fishing along Penns Creek, but this can be covered later.
Here are the photos from the weekend.
