Denis Mora and Richard Ulrych, members of our TU chapter, spent a beautiful fall day in the Pocono Mountains in northeast Pennsylvania going after our wild native brookies indigeneous to these waters.

Here are some pictures from a fishing trip Rich Ulrych and I took to a stream in the Jim Thorpe area the other day. The stream which will remain unnamed at this time ( I was a guest ) is classified as Wilderness Trout Stream. It was an absolutely beautiful little stream complete with waterfalls, pocket water, and loaded with some of the prettiest fish I've ever seen. Our state fish the Brook Trout. Although these were small fish, their coloration more than made up for their size. We managed to catch around fifty before we wrapped it up for the day. I caught mine on dry fly patterns, Rich's came mostly on a nymph pattern.
